Good Things Come to Those Who Wait!!!
Oh My Gosh!!
This week has been full of ups and downs.
Having started another week still looking for a new job, the week got worse with the earthquake in Christchurch on Tuesday, Wednesday had me receiving yet another “Sorry, you have been unsuccessful” letter from one of the latest job applications I have sent out, to having a very productive preping session with my partner for the Auckland Extravaganza, and Friday going again to WINZ having to explain AGAIN why I resigned from my job and them telling me it may be 13 weeks before they would give me any money.
So I was so excited when I thought I better catch up with the latest on The Stampin Up Only Challenge Website and found that my entry (which was my first ever entry into any challenge) had won THIRD PLACE.
Yahoooo I just had to brag a bit and jumped on the phone and told my mum.
This definitly gives me a big boost, that I got in the Top 3 with my first ever entry.
Ok Now that I’ve had my Brag here I will thank everyone who has been following my blog and will have some more creations to share very soon.
Remember Auckland Extravaganza is on in Two Weeks so email me to book your place for some most excellent projects.
A Quick and Easy way to colour Ribbon.
Now many of you would know that you can colour your Whisper White Ribbon with our fabulous Stampin’ Up Markers.
But if you have alot of ribbon to dye then this will take forever, trust me I know!
During the process of making my SU only Challenge Entry and my In Colour Swaps found that I had 24 pieces of ribbon to dye and doing with my marker was going to make to take me forever.
So I sat and pondered and figured out that I could use my brayer on top of my ink pad. By rolling the ribbon onto the ink pad with my brayer I could dye my ribbon much faster.
So I’m sharing my tip with you today.
I will try to share more ideas as I find them or think of myself.
Happy Crafting.

SUO Challenge 12 – Get Stampin’ with Stampin’ Around.
Ok my first Challenge.
I thought that this year I would try out some of the Challenges on line.
And because I have been a very good girl and keep my spending on Non-SU products almost non exsistant, I thought starting with Stampin’ Up Only Challenges.
This weeks challenge was – Get Stamin’ with Stamin’ Around wheels, So I chose my favourite Very Vintage Wheel.
My inspiration was from Robin Merriman.
I used Concord Crush and Whisper White Cardstock, Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon Dyed Concord Crush, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder, Very Vintage Wheel and our Basic Pearls.
I love it and hope you all do too.

Stamp Camp 2011.
Last Weekend was Awesome.
I had the pleasure of spending 2 days amongest some very creative, caring, sharing and fun ladies in The Creative Inkers Team.
We all decended onto the Keswich Christian Camp and spent time chatting, laughing, creating, and of course STAMPING.
It was great to see people I only know by name to put a face to them, and to catch up with people I havent seen since before Christmas.
Here is my project that I demoed. I have wanted to do a Tri Shutter Mini Album for ages so I put up my hand to do it at Stamp Camp not realising just what I was getting myself into. As the ladies who attended know it was very full on, I was very very ambitious but I pulled it off and everyone loved it.
I used the Fox and Friends, Avairy, and Funky Four Stamp Sets, Daffodill Delight, Marina Mist and Elegent Eggplant Cardstock, DSP and Ribbon.
I also need to credit Gretchen Barrow for the instructions for the gorgous butterfly punchart on the front of the Albums.
